Refund Policy
Short version: cancel whenever you like, and if the first run does not do what we said it would, ask for your money back.
Last updated 8 September 2026.
Cancel at any time
You can cancel from Plan & billing in two clicks. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your reports stay available until then.
The first fourteen days
If GeoShark does not do what the pricing page said it would, write to us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. You do not have to explain yourself, and there is nothing to send back.
After that
- We do not refund part-months or part-years. Cancelling stops the next charge rather than clawing back the current period.
- If we charged you twice, charged the wrong plan, or billed after you cancelled, tell us and we will put it right — that is a mistake, not a refund request.
- If the service is unavailable for a long stretch through our own fault, write to us. We will look at the period affected and credit or refund it.
What is not refundable
Answers vary between runs, and the engines change what they say without notice. A run that reports a brand is absent, or a score that goes down, is the service working — it is a measurement, not a fault. GeoShark does not promise a mention, a citation, a recommendation, traffic or revenue, and those outcomes are not grounds for a refund.
How to ask
Email hello@geoshark.io from the address on the account. We answer within two working days, and refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within five to ten working days depending on your bank.
